We just had burgers for dinner as everyone felt stuffed after a whole week of Christmas celebrations and daily special treats.
There was no fondue, but Uncle Kieran made a big bonfire:

At midnight we jumped off the sofas into the new year (a Danish tradition I have made ours) and watched the fireworks on the TV from the Auckland Sky Tower. It felt pretty bizarre that whilst we were now in 2018, back home everybody else barely had enjoyed their New Years Eve lunch!
