Melbourne City

Nathan left on the Wednesday as he had to get back to work. The rest of us wanted to make the most of our time off before school started again so we stayed an extra day.
The boys just wanted to hang back at home, but Linnea was keen on an adventure so her and I took the train into Melbourne City. It only took 15 minutes, super easy!


I tried to negotiate a nice lunch, but I had no chance. Negotiations lost... I had to have Starbucks...


We didn't really know where to go or what to do, frankly we were rather poorly prepared. But we just followed the flow and walked about for a while, enjoyed the sunshine and the people watching, and even managed to see some shops!

Linneas two favourites, Smiggle and Typo next to each other = heaven.


Meanwhile the boys had got out the cricket set and were playing in the garden:


In the evening we went on another dog walk all together, down to St Kilda, to get some ice cream:




It was really beautiful by the beach in the sunset:
