Every now and then, not so often, it happens - we are actually TOGETHER for our wedding anniversary! Happy Anniversary Sweety!
We celebrated by taking a morning walk to the church where we wed:
For lunch we decided to go out and went up to Kinnekullegården.
I had one of the biggest shrimp sandwiches of the summer, om nom nom!
After lunch, some of us took a walk up the hill to the Kinnekulle Observation Tower.
This tower was built in 1892, and it's 19 meters tall. It's constructed right here on the summit of Kinnekulle, which is 306 m so in clear weather you can see about 80-90 kilometers away from up here.
We didn't go all the way up the tower, but explored the surroundings instead. For example, there was a memorial plaque over the airplane accident which happened right here when a small plane heading for Norway crashed into the hill 1944.
We also had a look at the 'Royal Stones' with inscriptions from many royal visits from the past 200 years, the latest one from Crown Princess Victoria's visit in 2010:
Great views from up here!
♡♡♡
