The fish of Vänern

One grey day during our first week we went to Lidköping. We were mainly going to shop for more sports clothes, but we had also read that the personnel from Vänermuséet would empty their big net in the canal every day at 12 o'clock.

There was quite a nice little exhibit prepared, with for example posters with fish from Vänern and personnel from the museum that would answer all your questions.

We weren't the only ones there, but to our big disappointment the net contained absolutely nothing once they got it up out of the water. Such a shame.

Maybe on another rainy day we will go and visit the actual museum.
