Hjo Handicraft Fair

Already on our first day in Sweden we went on an adventure. It was the last day of the Handicraft Fair in Hjo so we went on a little road trip.

The Hjo Handicraft Fair is the largest craft fair in Scandinavia with around 300 exhibitors. You have to "apply" to get a stall so that there will be a good variety of vendors.

It is always on the second weekend of July, beautifully located in the Town Park by the lake Vättern.

There sure was a lot of different things to look at. We had a good look around, shopped a little bit but also some some crafting in progress. This guy created wood ornaments with a chainsaw:

It was pretty cool, this ended up becoming an owl!

A good day out!
