The unusual stuff

It's always nice to have guests as you end up in a bit of holiday mode yourself as well. I had denied work the whole week Pia and family was here to be able to spend as much time with them as possible, and truly enjoyed my pool and beach days as much as the next tourist!

One day we also went on a bit of an adventure and did a kayak tour around the mangroves.

This one was with a different company than last year when we went with Linda and Stefan, and whereas the mangroves were equally beautiful, our guide this time was a lot more informative - and fun!

Emma and Lucas was sharing one kayak, and Linnea and Sofie another. Us adults had one kayak each.

Once inside the mangroves we saw tons of little black crabs who had climbed up onto the trees, can you see them?

It was rather tight kayaking around the mangroves, and I must admit I spent quite a lot of time tangled up in the trees. I was ok with speed, but steering... not so much... ha ha!

Such a glorious afternoon!
