Back to Kolding

Our next stop in Jylland was Kolding, to visit our good friends Lars & Dorte. Their eldest son, also a Lukas, is five weeks older than ours - but about two sizes taller, ha ha! They've known each other since our Lucas was about one month old. We used to live in Horsham at the same time.

It really warmed our hearts, to see how easily the two boys reconnected, even though it's been 3 or 4 years since we last saw each other. Although it never really seems hard for boys, there is always an iPad game or so to bond over!

It was easier for them to have fun now though, since Lukas has started to learn english at school. They could communicate better, not that it mattered that much before, but it was rather enjoyable to listen to their conversations.

On the first day we took a walk around town, passed not only Koldinghus, but also a frozen youghurt place..! Yum!
