Allsångskväll in Skara

Sing-alongs are a big thing here in Sweden, especially during the summer. There are two competing "Allsångs"-shows on TV, running live throughout the summer, one from Stockholm and one from Gothenburg; and every town usually arranges an "Allsångs"-evening or two where they invite celebritites and put on a show.
In Skara there have been two this summer. We were in Denmark for the first one, but we managed to be here for the second and last one, on Thursday night.

Well, let's just say, it's not a hugely big show, but it's still nice to see the amount of people it attracts, in this otherwise rather sleepy and empty town. We got our sing-along-books, and sat down, ready to sing!

The program was a bit weak, only two guest artists, one of them barely known, although he did sing alright. The other one a big tv-personality, Lasse Kronér, who basically saved the show as he was rather entertaining.

Well, if nothing else, it was a beautiful summers evening, I enjoyed the people-watching just as much as the show, and in the end - it's nice to be a part of it, when something is finally happening in this little town!
