Then I decided we should go explore something off Linda’s list - Udden Sculpture in the old quarry in Hunnebostrand. I was pleasantly surprised, as it was really beautiful, and not too much, so Linnea kept her interest too.
This was the 14th edition of Udden Sculpture, and this exhibition area was truly extraordinary to visit. The artwork were scattered along the gravel walk next to the sea.
It showed a whole series of large sculptures where the seashore and the rocks were partly used. The participants had been chosen by an international curator committee. Some were added this year, some are left permanently from previous editions of the Udden Sculpture project.

This year the new sculptures included art by artists from both Sweden and Denmark, but also Netherlands, Russia and Luxembourg.
I really loved how the sculptures were co-existing in the landscape, and how the rocks were used as backdrops, and sometimes partners to the art work.
