As we weren’t very far away, we decided to go visit Smögen as well, while we were in the neighbourhood. Smögen is a very popular summer destination, famous for its boardwalk and abundance of sea food restaurants.
It wasn’t terribly busy, since we are at the end of the summer season not many visitors. It was us and mostly European tourists walking the boardwalk.
I have to say, I was kind of disappointed. I’m not quite sure what I expected but it all felt a bit overrated.
We decided to have dinner there before we drove back, Linnea had fish & chips and I had a prawn salad. It was ok, but not even close to some of the best food of the summer.
