Seychelles, Northern part of Mahé

We had breakfast included at the hotel, and it was so delicious; fresh fruit, toast, eggs and bacon and homebake. After having enjoyed this lovely breakfast on the terrace we were set for the day.

A quick morning swim in the pool:

We had hired a car to be able to drive ourselves around and explore. We had decided to just stay on the main island, Mahé, but it turned out it actually wasn't that big. Someone said it would take only two hours to drive around the whole island, but we decided to take our time and on our first whole day we headed north first.

Our hotel was located just by the golf course:

We stopped for lunch at a seaside restaurant in Beau Vallon, right on the beach. Amazing views of the sea and really delicious food.

The kids loved swimming in the waves.

In the afternoon we returned to the east coast and Eden Island where one of Nathan's collegues stays at the moment on a contract for Air Seychelles. The kids got to have another swim at their beach, and Owen had full-face snorkeling masks they could borrow and they saw many different fish:

Owen made Linnea's day letting her drive his little club car back from the beach. We did initially end up in the bushes but then she got the hang of it:

We had dinner and watched Ireland beat Italy in rugby at a restaurant down in the marina at Eden Island.
