Seychelles, Midterm holiday trip

Nathan had leave this week which coincided with the kids having a long weekend off from school for midterm holiday. I really wanted us to go to New York this week, but Nathan wasn't keen on doing that long flight for not many days stay, so we started looking at other alternatives not too far away.
We ended up settling on the Seychelles, after finding both flights and accommodation super fast.

It really ended up being a great trip, we left Friday morning and came back Tuesday night with perfectly scheduled flight times. The airport at the Seychelles is not very big, so we quickly got our rental car sorted and could go to our hotel which turned out only being about 10 minutes away from the airport. We were in the pool within an hour after landing!

Our hotel was a small family run holiday lodge with only six rooms. It was situated on top of a big hill, so we had great views over the tree tops and even the sea in the far.

We took a short drive up the coast to find some dinner. We were all taken back with the greenery and the coast line with all the blue, green and turquoise colours; it truly feeds your soul.

In the evening we could see huge amounts of fruit bats flying over the hotel, amazing...
