Falkängen is a small handicraft village consisting of a handful of shops where artisans gather every summer and sell and display their craft; everything from wool, woven, ceramics to glass, textiles, forging etc. It is really pittoresque, and I have many times before found and bought pretty things here.
We didn't quite find the minerals and fossils as fascinating as Mormor and Morfar did, but we had a good look around anyway. I mostly enjoyed the interactions between the passionate mineral/fossil-collectors in the stands..!
And can you believe that we are now about halfway through our summer holidays, and we are all still friends..! (Well, most of the time anyway!)
