Feels so normal

Thursday night it was time for rugby training. I had told Beenal that after the sun sets, it gets cold, and I mean C-O-L-D. So cold that parents that come to watch the training wear their UGG boots, woolly hats and ski jackets... She didn't believe me.
She later had to borrow both socks, closed shoes, and a cardigan, and still she was cold! Well, that's UAE winter for you! (It's fab by the way, love it!)

As we had run out of time before rugby practice due to the shopping trip to Yas Mall, we quickly decided for dinner we would do a drive-through KFC on the way home. But as it turns out, it was Josefine's birthday, so we joined her and the family at the 'Sportsmans Arms' (the pub at the Zayed Sports City) for dinner instead. Much nicer!
We had never been, but must say that it was really good. Tasty food and friendly service, we will definitely come back soon again.

Beenal's comment was simply: "Oaw, it feels so normal!". Ha ha, yes, life here can be pretty "normal", at least if you compare it to Brunei life!
