Liking the Lykan

Yesterday we made a special pit stop at Yas Mall to see one of the world's rarest vehicles. For two days only, they are displaying to the public the new Abu Dhabi police Lykan 720hp HyperSport supercar. It's introduced as part of the Abu Dhabi Police awareness program that encourages safe driving on UAE roads.

At US$ 3.4 million, the Lykan HyperSport is the third most expensive car to ever be made. The cause of the car's high price tag is its very expensive included options. It is the first car to have headlights with embedded jewels; they contain titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds (15cts).
It is claimed to have a top speed of 385 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.

This is the first supercar produced in the Middle East, it was one of the cars which was featured in the film 'Furious 7'. You might remember the scene where Vin Diesel drives a gorgeous red Lykan out through the window of one of the Etihad Towers skyscrapers, here in Abu Dhabi?

W Motors has only produced seven units of this car. Very cool.
