This time it was Erika doing the buying. She ordered a custom made gold ring for herself, as she has just turned 40 and wanted something a bit more everlasting to remember her big day.
We then had plenty of time to kill while waiting for Erika's ring to be ready. The girls wanted to go back to the Kinokuniya book shop in Dubai Mall, so we headed there. After having spent nearly two hours in the book shop we had lunch outside by the Dubai Mall Fountain, and then Erika and I had already had enough of walking about... So we sat down with a cup of tea, and read our books we had just purchased, while Jenny made sure she didn't miss anything out and walked about for another couple of hours.
Disappointingly all Jenny came back with from Dubai was - a magazine! She found nothing, even though she tried hard!
Before picking up the ring, we had to make time for a last pit stop at Starbucks for Jenny, who needed some caffeine at the end of the day. Although... Danny?? Really?
