It certainly had been a while since I last visited the mosque. I'm not entirely sure, but I actually don't think I've been since Kathleen and I went to have a few pictures taken, over two years ago. Extra lovely to come back at dusk like this, we were so lucky with our visit.
First we got daylight photos of the courtyard and the big domes:
There wasn't too many people at all, no queuing involved at all really. We could walk slowly, take our time, enjoy and have a good look, and get all the pictures.
And by the time we were done on the inside, we got to see the amazing blue light playing on the facade of the mosque. So pretty!
