Summers in Skara

Summer in Skara means a lot of the same things every summer, we are creatures of habit the kids and I for sure, and we like our routines.
Like doing puzzles with Mormor, this summer we did both some 1000 and some 2000 pieces:

Kids are having the same breakfast every day, Lucas with his dark bread and "prickig korv", mango yoghurt and muesli; Linnea with her O'boy drink and round breads with paté or "Kalles Kaviar".
Here's Linnea reading all of our horoscopes for the day in the morning:

Linnea learning more about our family from Mormors genealogy research:

My favourite cup of coffee, the morning coffee for breakfast, enjoyed outside:

Instead of playing 'Kubb' (Viking chess) this year, we were recommended a new game - 'Mölkki'. Similar to 'Kubb' in that you throw wooden sticks about, but a little bit more intricate with some math involved. So much fun, we all played!

Unicorn hair! Linnea made the most of being able to expressing herself during the summer holidays, when at school there is no hair colouring (or nail polish for that matter) allowed.

We have also played a lot of cards. The kids extended their knowledge from only 'Skitgubbe' to also learning how to play 'Plump' and 'Casino' this summer. The competition was fierce.

The ice cream truck had a Limited Edition special liquorice ice cream on offer this summer. Liquorice really is something the kids have never learned to like - so more for me!

Summer in Skara also involves croquet, of course!

And watching "Midsommer Murders" all together every Tuesday night, even though it's sometimes a bit scary..! The kids got really involved in guessing who would be killed off each week!
