Liljevalchs

Once the shopping was all done it was time for some nice excursions, today we decided to take the boat across to Djurgården and make a visit to Liljevalchs and the current exhibition by Lars Lerin.

Matchy matchy, as best friends should be!

We certainly brought the middle age down on the guided tour!

Lars Lerin is a very popular and folksy artist from Värmland. He is regarded as the premier watercolourist of the Nordic region, and some of his work is also done with graphic art and photography as well as text.

We could've probably stayed longer, but it was extremely bad air inside the museum, and really hot even though they had placed fans here and there. I just couldn't hack it, so we rushed through a bit unfortunately.

Swedish meatballs for lunch!

We took a walk from Djurgården into the city, here's the Royal castle in the background:

Time for this years soft ice with liquorice, yum!

We decided to stay in the city for dinner, and stopped in at a place by Slussen to have some pork, cheese and wine - mmm, a better dinner for sure!
