Sigtuna

Since I had the rental car until the Monday afternoon, Erika and I decided to make the most of it and go explore somewhere we could only reach by car. We decided to go to Sigtuna to have lunch!

Sigtuna has an important place in Sweden's early history, it is the oldest town in Sweden having been founded in 980. Such a picturesque little town, we really enjoyed strolling along all the small streets with the low built wooden houses.

When we got back to the city in the evening, we met up with Jenny and had dinner at a tapas restaurant on Kungsholmen. Then went down to the seafront to admire the sunset, and get some nice photos. Hard to believe I've known these girls for 25+ years! ♥︎
