The boys somehow needed a sleep-in on the Saturday morning but us girls certainly didn't let the slightly fuzzy heads from the day before stop us. We had a big day planned in Dubai, and set off in the morning for our first stop, our "Goldman" in the Gold & Diamond Park.
Pia had some things that needed repair, some that needed polishing and also some things she wanted to order, both for herself, others and as gifts. Lucky they offer both water and coffee, as we normally settle in for a while when we are there..!
We thought we deserved a treat, so we decided to buy each
other some BFF bracelets. As only the best will do in the UAE, we chose
some from Tiffany - the Elsa Peretti Diamonds by the Yard design. Aren't
they pretty?
After the big girls were happy and we had had a quick bite to eat, it was time for the highlight of the
day for the younger girls - Hub Zero. It's an indoor amusement park filled of gaming experiences, virtual reality rides etc. We had some vouchers for an
all-day pass for them, so Pia and I dropped them there when it opened at 2pm,
and then drove across the road to the Dubai Mall in the meantime.

We got four hours at the Dubai Mall before the girls had had enough. Plenty of time for some more shopping! It sure is more fun when there is two of you - I have missed my buddy.
On our way home we stopped at the new Last Exit food truck park, on the opposite side of the highway to the other one. This one has the same food trucks, but a different decor. It's a bit of an apocalyptical Mad Max theme:
A great day out!
