While I was with Erika going to museums, Linnea spent her week with some friends from Abu Dhabi, the Homann twins. Their mother Susanne is Swedish, and they have a beautiful summer house on Färingsö just outside of Stockholm where they spend their summer holidays.
They had gone to the movies, chilled out at home and gone to Stockholm city a few times too. Linnea had been the tour leader as the twins don't speak any Swedish, and she was very proud of herself. Both for being the token spokesperson and translator, but also because she had been the one scouting out all the routes of the subway and buses, figuring out where to go and how to get to places etc.
She had had a fantastic week!
Susanne and I are good friends too, so I stayed for a fika when I came to pick Linnea up, and of course we had to have a groupie to commemorate the stay!
