Tuesdays 5.15 pm

For nearly seven years, the stroke of 5.15 pm on a Tuesday afternoon meant something special to me - it meant that the horn went on the H3 Ladies Hash in Brunei. Oh, how I miss my jungle, the many different runs, the on-ons and my hash buddies...
I haven't tried to hash here yet, but I really can't see how it could compare even the slightest to our amazing jungle runs in the rainforest of Borneo, so I haven't been too keen to go, yet.

From now on though, Tuesdays 5.15 pm will mean something different. It's the start of Linnea's weekly gymnastics session! We signed her up this morning and she started already this afternoon, with one of the most popular gymnastics clubs in the region - Jump Sports Academies.

She is in bright orange leggings and a purple top in the far end of the photo:

They got to try a lot of different things, trampolining, mat work, balancing on the beam, the rings etc.

She came out super happy with glowing red cheeks, announcing "I LOVE it Mummy, I'm coming back next week!"
Which was lucky, as I had just paid a f-o-r-t-u-n-e in fees for the term... :) And as if that was not enough, we also had to kit her out with the club leotard, of course... Ta-daaa!

  1. Hello Mrs Watson,
I am so glad you have such fond memories of Brunei. I am your blog silent reader for a long time from Brunei. Wish you all the best in your new location. Take care.
