Lunch in the sky

Pia's November week here was rather quiet, mostly spent by the pool and at the beach. Pia went on her daily walks, and just relaxed on the days I was working.
We did have Game Night at mine, where we played the new favourite Hitster, and enjoyed my Mexican Stack for dinner, and imported Swedish Fika for dessert. Om nom nom!

But we did spend one day in Dubai this time! Pia had some things to sort at the Goldman, and then Linda had recommended us to book in a business lunch at Tattu, a restaurant in 'The World's Tallest Hotel' - Ciel Tower:

The Ciel Tower stands at 377 metres above Dubai Marina, and includes the highest infinity pool in the world. We were going up to the 74th floor, and luckily the elevator was not a glass elevator..!

We got seated right by the window, which initially actually was a little bit scary. The views of Palm Jumeirah and the Marina are second to none though, worth the temporary unease!

We were at the same level as the skydivers outside the window!

Linda had talked highly about the food, and she was not wrong, it was delicious! Modern Chinese-fusion, right up my alley! Very reasonable priced too, 149 AED for 2 starters and a main course with perfectly sized portions for me.

Tattu originally opened in Manchester in 2015 and now with branches all over the UK. It just opened here in Dubai so it's the talk of the town.

Another memorable experience to add to the highlight reel of my life!
