Chinatown

Last time we came to Sydney was 17 years ago when the Whites lived in Dural, and we all came here to celebrate Bruce's 60th.
So on our first day while Kieran was still on a business trip, the rest of us decided to go into the city just to have a walk about and look around. It's really easy to get around from Breakfast Point, as there is a ferry taking about 40 minutes to get into the heart of the city. It's like a bus-boat calling at many points, so at the same time it is almost like a sightseeing boat as well!

We went to a newly opened Food Market called the Hay Street Market, and had some vietnamese bahn mi for lunch.

This was really close to Chinatown, so after lunch we went there to get some cream puffs for dessert.

It was a lovely warm day, like a perfect summers day, even though it is supposed to be autumn in Australia. The leaves were red and yellow, but the temperatures hit 30 degrees some days. Strange feeling!
