1st November 2021 Covid status

Another month with small steps forward, for example a new 'Green List' came out on the 8 October. It now has 84 countries on it (including all the Scandinavian countries), which travelers can come from without having to quarantine on arrival (if they are vaccinated!). Good stuff!

In the middle of October the UAE dipped under 100 new cases for the first time since March LAST year, and it has stayed very low the whole month since then, today we were in the 70s. Quite an improvement since the around four thousand new cases a day we had back in January.
We have been as low as 0,025% (positive cases in relation to amount of tests taken each specific day).

Professionally good things have happened too, with changes in the restrictions so can now guide big groups again, yaaaay! There is finally, FINALLY, light in the tunnel!

Here are todays UAE numbers:
* 78 new cases, from 272,261 tests.
* No new deaths, the total death toll in the UAE is at 2,136. Globally we have now passed 5M...
* 22,662 vaccine doses were given (Linnea and I were two of those!) and 87,76 % of the population is fully vaccinated.
