The Alchemist

Nathan had a trip to London at the same time I was there. In a way it was a shame that once again our visits overlapped, and weren’t spread out; but on the other hand this meant that we could all hang out together. 

He had a really nice First Officer with him, who was up for hanging out with the Watsons; so they came into Canary Wharf to spend the late afternoon with Linnea and I, after we had finished with Mamma Mia The Party.

We ended up doing a little bit of bar hopping in the nice weather. 

The coolest place we went to was The Alchemist, a bar with really fun drinks! Each cocktail came with its own spectacle! 

We had so much fun!

Once Nathan and Vincent had jumped in an Uber to go back to Slough and their hotel, Linnea and I retreated to our hotel, and watched the Eurovision Song Contest Final on TV. Well, I did, rooting for KAJ who represented Sweden. They came in 4th, which of course was a great result, but as they had been tipped to win, it was still a little bit of an anticlimax.
