Last weekend Lucas met up with a couple of his friends to do something he has been wanting to do for a while - karting! We actually have never tried out the Yas Marina Kartzone, only done it inside the Ferrari World here. Lucas did invite all his mates to go karting for his birthday party 6 years ago, but unfortunately we had to cancel that last minute due to rain..!
The track here looks like really good fun! It's rather newly refurbished and covers a huge area just next to the F1 track. The karting track itself is 1km, and can be run in three different configurations. When the boys went it was rather busy, so about 15 karts were on the track together with them.
Each session only runs 15 minutes, but they had a lot of fun. I have a feeling they will go back very soon again!
