Exploring the Dubai shoreline

All this week Erika wanted to spend as much time outside in the sun as possible, so for our lunch break we headed out towards Jumeirah Beach to try and find somewhere to get a bite to eat. We ended up exploring two different areas, both new to me.
We started with lunch at the new cool beachfront development called La Mer:

Mmm, sushi!

Then we moved over to Kite Beach, another part of Jumeirah Beach I hadn't been to either.

It was time for coffee and ice cream:

We also took a walk along the beach, it was sunny, but rather windy so actually not as warm as it looks!
